Train a Team of Employees
Need to train a team of employees quickly and become compliant. CASBA can get you there.
Our training is valid in California and meets specific state requirements.
A 1 hour course for regular employees and a 2 hour course for managers and supervisors.
Online 24×7 self paced Sexual Harassment training
California employers with five or more employees will now be required to provide at least two hours of effective interactive training and education regarding sexual harassment prevention to all supervisory employees; and at least one hour of effective interactive training and education regarding sexual harassment prevention to all nonsupervisory employees.
After this initial sexual harassment prevention training is completed, a covered employer must provide: sexual harassment and prevention training to each employee in California once every two years; and training to nonsupervisory employees within six months of hire, and to new supervisory employees within six months of the assumption of a supervisory position.
The term “employee” includes all full-time, part-time and temporary workers, as well as unpaid interns, volunteers and certain types of independent contractors.
An independent contractor counts as an employee for purposes of training if the contractor has been performing services each working day over the course of 20 consecutive weeks.
Nonsupervisory employees must complete one hour of training every two years.
Supervisory employees must complete two hours of training every two years.
A “supervisor” is anyone who has the authority to conduct any one of the following activities:
• Hire
• Transfer
• Promote
• Fire
• Address grievances
• Direct the daily work activities of anyone else
If you are not sure whether a particular employee is a supervisor, err on the side of caution and have them take the two hour training.
